We’re seeking an experienced buy-side trader to take ownership of a live book and drive performance across equities, ETFs, futures, and options . This is a hands-on trading role focused on execution, adaptability, and fast decision-making — not research. A background in proprietary trading or high-frequency environments is highly relevant. Programming ability is useful but not a prerequisite.
Role Overview
The Senior Quantitative Trader will play a central role in expanding the firm’s presence in high-frequency and systematic trading across global markets. You’ll operate at the core of strategy deployment and execution, leveraging quantitative insights to deliver consistent, scalable results.
You’ll work closely with portfolio managers, quants, and developers to refine strategies, optimize execution, and identify new opportunities across U.S., European, and emerging Asian markets .

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Trading Strategies: Run and optimize systematic or high-frequency books, adjusting positions in real time as conditions evolve.
- Design & Execute: Develop, refine, and implement short-term and intraday trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
- Enhance Execution: Improve fill quality, order placement, and latency to capture alpha efficiently.
- Own the Risk: Track and manage exposures, ensuring alignment with firm-wide limits and market movements.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with quantitative researchers and engineers to evolve algorithms and uncover new trading insights.
- Contribute to Growth: Bring new ideas and perspectives that complement existing approaches and strengthen the overall trading platform.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Professional Background: At least 5 years of trading experience at a hedge fund or proprietary trading firm, with a consistent record of profitability.
- Hands-On Trader: Comfortable running a book, making rapid decisions, and managing real-time risk.
- Product Knowledge: Strong exposure to ETFs, futures, or options preferred.
- Technical Edge: Familiarity with Python or C++ is beneficial, with the ability to work effectively alongside developers and quants.
- Execution-Driven: Pragmatic, analytical, and focused on results in fast-moving markets.
- Collaborative Approach: Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, team-oriented environments.
