The opportunity

Worldline is a major international player in end-to-end Commercial Acquiring, Multichannel Payment Acceptance and Payment Terminal solutions. Worldline's unique combination of payment, digital and transactional expertise allows merchants to boost sales and enhance the

The role focuses on strengthening and maintaining effective IT and business security practices across all Business Units in a highly sensitive and regulated environment.
The Security Officer acts as the primary point of contact for the Business Units on all security related matters, providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure that security threats are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed.Close collaboration with business, technical, and compliance stakeholders is essential to ensure that security measures are effective, proportionate, and aligned with regulatory expectations. The
position plays a key role in embedding security-by-design principles across business operations and promoting consistent security standards across the organization.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Owns the security relationship with the Business Units, acting as the primary and
  accountable point of contact for all security-related topics, including security
  requirements, and decision support.
• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions that align with the
  directives set by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust protection against
  emerging threats.
• Developing and enforcing security best practices, including overseeing patch
  management and obsolescence processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Managing and coordinating with third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with security
  standards and practices.
• Innovating and streamlining security processes to enhance operational efficiency,
  introducing new methodologies while refining existing ones for continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate effective security measures into all
  business projects and operations.
• Ensuring that security best practices are embedded in the design and implementation
  phases of business projects.
• Participating in operational committees to ensure that security requirements are
  adequately addressed and met.
• Overseeing the implementation of identified mitigation actions as defined in the Risk
  Treatment Plan.
• Manage security incident response activities, including analysis and remediation of
  security breaches.
• Collaborate on security certification audits and security assessments initiated by
  customers to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Who are we looking for
• Bachelor in IT, IT Security, Engineering or equivalent
• Certificate in security (e.g. CISSP, CEH, ...) is a strong plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security or other relevant field
• Proven experience in navigating complex environments
• Google cloud security and DevOps knowledge is a strong plus
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 and Dora security frameworks is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written
• Good level in German is mandatory
• Results driven and persistent
