Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist with a strong understanding of the back-office IT System used by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The ideal candidate will lead technical support, system operations, and enhancements to ensure seamless trade matching, clearing, and settlement processes in the local Thai market.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-office, back-office, and settlement teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing.
- Support daily reconciliation, settlement activities, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
- Document all systems, applications, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Participate in meetings with SET, SEC regulators, and internal teams to discuss issues, projects, and strategy.
- Provide technical support for the Pre-Settlement Matching System (PSMS) used in the Thai market.
- Deep understanding of the SET and SEC reporting requirements.
- Worked with local vendors on client confirmation reports.
- Knowledge of Thai trading applications, exchange connectivity, and trade clearing/settlement processes.
- Support trade settlement activities, troubleshooting promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Understand Trade reconciliation from post trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement.
- Support the testing and implementation of new functionality or system enhancements
- Validate and ensure the correctness of regulatory reports filed with SET.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Supporting existing staff with their day-to-day needs is a secondary responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and above in Information Technology discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of direct experience working in securities business with the Thai stock exchange systems, especially the back-office IT systems and related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT platforms and system support across mobile and workspace environments, including Windows desktops, network connectivity, voice technologies, and data center management, is desirable.
- Familiarity with trading technologies and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, IFIS, Thai Quest) used in the local market environment is advantageous.
- Strong end-users focus with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of securities trading processes, trade clearing, and settlement in Thailand.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience providing both face-to-face and remote support for internal and external applications.
- Excellent command of written spoken and written Thai and English.
- Analytical thinker with logical problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Familiarity with the Thai securities market and regulatory environment.
- Experience supporting trading or back-office IT systems in a financial institution.
