Fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within an established manufacturing group based in North Kent. This role is office-based and would suit a career-driven, qualified accountant with five to ten years PQE who is keen to take ownership and work closely with the Head of Finance and the parent Group. Duties include:-

Responsibilities of the Financial/Management Accountant Role:-

Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes
Prepare statutory accounts and support external audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Develop and enhance financial models to support business decision-making.
Analyse financial performance, challenge underlying assumptions and identify areas for improvement.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of group reporting processes.
Produce high-quality financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Requirements of the Financial/Management Accountant Role:-

CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling
Essential to have strong exposure to cost accounting, ideally within the manufacturing sector
Car owner-driver
