Finance Assistant FTC (Part time)

We are looking for a Finance Assistant on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract. On a part time, this role will be reporting into the Finance Manager. The successful will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily finance and accounting activities.
Process invoices, expenses, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and credit cards.
Support with some month end closures, including journals and reconciliations
Support accounts receivable and purchase ledger activities.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
Assist with VAT compliance and year-end audit preparation.
Provide general support to the Finance Manager and wider finance team.

About You

Can commit to 20-22 hours per week, solely in office.
Previous experience working within a bookkeeping/finance support role.
Experience using systems such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.
