Our client, a Tier 1 multimanager platform, is looking to add an Equity L/S Analyst with strong sector expertise in European Oil & Gas equities.
We seek someone with excellent modelling skills and deep sector knowledge, and no prior shorting experience is required. This role would be ideal for an existing L/S Analyst, a Long-Only deep fundamental analyst, or a Private Equity investor with in-depth sector expertise looking to switch to L/S investing.
The hiring PM team spans 3 continents, with a strong track record of progressing analysts to risk-running responsibilities.
Compensation will be market leading and you will have opportunity to take real ownership of your coverage within the book.
About you
- Currently working in a buyside role (L/S, LO, PE) with a focus on Energy / Oil & Gas
- Excellent university qualifications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with new challenges every day
- Financial modelling and analysis skills
- Deep passion and curiosity for the Energy equities space, with prepared materials to demonstrate this at interview
