Job Description



We are seeking a high-calibre marketing professional to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will combine deep marketing expertise with strong commercial acumen, delivering compelling messaging across diverse audiences while maintaining a data-driven approach to performance and optimisation.



Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, International, and with matrix reporting to the Senior Director, International Communication, the Senior Manager, International Marketing will lead, plan, and execute a wide variety of marketing initiatives to support the objectives of the International business.



The role requires a hands-on, action-oriented professional with a strong focus on delivery. They will have solid brand management as well as experience in marketing strategy, product marketing, thought leadership, social media and all aspects of marketing that increase demand for Crawford's services and demonstrate return on investment.




Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated, client-centric marketing strategies aligned to business growth objectives.


• Create compelling, audience-specific messaging across multiple channels and markets.


• Enhance client engagement through thought leadership, content strategy, and market-facing campaigns.


• Drive demand generation and pipeline growth through targeted campaigns and account-based marketing initiatives.


• Partner with senior stakeholders to support client growth, brand positioning, and market expansion.


• Leverage data and analytics to measure marketing impact on revenue, pipeline, and client outcomes.


• Strengthen brand positioning to support growth in target sectors and geographies.


• Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring expenditure is strategically aligned to business priorities, effectively tracked and delivers measurable return on investment.


• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align marketing activity with strategic client priorities.


• Develop, manage and continuously optimise website content and design to enhance user experience, improve SEO performance, and drive engagement, using data and analytics to monitor impact and inform ongoing improvements.


• Collaborates with the Senior Manager, Events (UK & Europe) to deliver engaging, growth-focused messaging to maximise audience impact.


• Manage internal and external marketing resources effectively.

• Strong and proven experience in a senior marketing role.


• Track record of delivering measurable marketing outcomes and business growth.


• Experience working within complex, matrixed organisations.


• Strong track record of delivering marketing-led growth and measurable commercial outcomes.


• Deep understanding of client engagement, value proposition development, and market positioning.


• Exceptional marketing expertise across digital, content, and campaign delivery.


• Strong writing skills, with the ability to develop compelling, audience-focused content that drives engagement and supports strategic objectives.


• Highly analytical with a strong focus on metrics, performance, and ROI


• Ability to translate complex propositions into clear, compelling client messaging.


• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership teams.


• Experience operating in global or multi-market environments.


• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.


• Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.


• Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively across divisions, geographies and all levels of leadership.

• Marketing experience within the insurance or financial service industry


• Bachelor's, master's or honours degree within Marketing.
