We are looking to identify an experienced Trading Assistant / Trade Support Analyst with at least three years’ experience gained within a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Asset Manager. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across both listed and OTC derivatives, with particular knowledge of Rates products including Interest Rate Swaps and Swaptions being highly desirable. You will have hands on experience supporting complex trading desks, managing trade bookings, lifecycle events, trade affirmations, risk monitoring and resolving trade exceptions, whilst building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, counterparties and brokers. Candidates with Python and SQL skills, alongside a passion for automation and the application of AI tools to improve operational efficiency, will be particularly well suited to this opportunity. You must a 2:1 degree to be considered.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role supporting a fast paced global trading desk, ensuring the accurate processing and maintenance of complex derivative transactions throughout their lifecycle. You will monitor trading risk throughout the day, oversee option expiry events, manage trade amendments, novations and unwind activity, investigate booking and coupon discrepancies. Alongside delivering exceptional day-to-day support to the Portfolio Managers, you will be encouraged to identify opportunities for automation, reduce operational risk and contribute to strategic technology initiatives that improve the efficiency and scalability of the trading platform.
