Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide evening security coverage for multiple client locations throughout the Fort Collins area. This position combines vehicle and foot patrol responsibilities and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently while maintaining a visible security presence.

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will travel between assigned properties, conduct scheduled inspections, document observations, and respond to security concerns as they arise. Every shift plays an important role in protecting client property while helping maintain safe and secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company patrol vehicle safely while traveling between assigned client locations
• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols of commercial and critical infrastructure properties
• Check entrances, exits, gates, parking lots, and perimeter areas for security concerns
• Help discourage trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity through regular patrols
• Respond appropriately to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in accordance with company procedures
• Observe, document, and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or property damage
• Complete detailed electronic activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation using company reporting platforms
• Follow all client post orders, company policies, and site-specific security procedures
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and client representatives when necessary
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous interactions while representing Citadel Security USA

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate company patrol vehicles during assigned shifts
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
• Ability to walk, stand, and perform routine patrols throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to successfully complete a background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in mobile patrol, private security, or property protection
• Experience using digital reporting applications or mobile workforce management platforms
• Familiarity with documenting incidents using electronic reporting systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm during unexpected situations

Work Environment

• Patrol assignments involve both indoor and outdoor environments
• Frequent travel between multiple client properties throughout the Fort Collins area
• Regular vehicle operation combined with walking patrols
• Evening schedule requiring consistent alertness and attention to detail
• Work may involve varying weather conditions while conducting exterior patrols
