Accountant Manager

Join SIX, the Swiss Exchange Group, as a Financial Accountant supporting our Financial Information business in the United States. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, accounting, tax, and compliance while working across a global finance organization.
What You Will Do
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting by supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, and contributing to IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reporting.
- Own and continuously improve core accounting processes across the general ledger, including accruals, payroll, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, cash management, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strong financial governance.
- Drive tax compliance and tax accounting activities by coordinating federal, state, and local tax filings, supporting tax provisions and deferred tax calculations, monitoring regulatory developments, and partnering with internal and external advisors on compliance, audits, transfer pricing, and planning initiatives.
- Strengthen financial controls and compliance by supporting audits, statutory reporting, regulatory requirements, and the continuous enhancement of internal controls and accounting practices.
- Act as a trusted business partner to Finance leadership by providing insightful financial analysis, identifying risks and improvement opportunities, collaborating across Finance, HR, and many other internal and external stakeholders, and driving automation, standardization, and process excellence across accounting, reporting, and tax functions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in complex, multinational, or public accounting environments.
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and U.S. tax and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing accounting, close, reporting, reconciliation, and tax compliance processes.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional with strong communication skills and systems proficiency.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with modern ERP systems (especially SAP).
