The Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Tax Manager to take on a key leadership role within the tax function. This position is suited for a technically strong, client-facing professional with extensive public accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring teams while managing complex client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage tax engagements in compliance with professional standards
• Coordinate engagement timelines, staffing, and client deliverables
• Maintain and grow client relationships as a primary point of contact
• Review tax returns, supporting documentation, and workpapers for accuracy
• Conduct technical tax research and provide guidance on complex issues
• Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities with clients and internal stakeholders
• Mentor, train, and supervise junior team members
• Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments
• Manage a portfolio of clients including budgeting, realization, and delivery goals
• Support advisory work and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license required
• 10+ years of relevant public accounting experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience with common tax and accounting software tools
