WORK LOCATION
The applicable base salary range for this role is $63,700 to $75,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the RFP Analyst is to work with the account teams to market lines of coverage for consulting clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Perform underwriting and financial analysis support for internal account teams and their respective consulting clients;
- Responsible for clients' benefits marketing process, including: data acquisition, request for proposal (RFP) preparation, vendor question resolution, proposal review and analysis, negotiation with carriers, and client exhibit and presentation preparation;
- Tracking and documentation of RFP process from drafting RFP to final decision confirmation;
- Validate renewals and proposals for accuracy;
- Use specified technology platform to release RFPs and receive/analyze proposals;
- Maintain quality service standards and organization to assure timely service to MMA team;
- Research and remain abreast of the dynamic, competitive insurance environment, new and complex insurance projects, appropriate underwriting techniques and constantly changing legislation that governs business;
- Contribute to defining and implementing systems, workflows, standards and best practices that support the establishment and growth of the centralized marketing team;
- As part of the centralized marketing team, help plan and implement a mid-to-long term strategy to improve the utilization of the unit across all business practices and lines of coverage;
- Participate in special underwriting and operations projects as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuary, Mathematics and/or other related field is required;
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Benefits Brokerage, Consulting, or Insurance industry is preferred with an emphasis on Life & Disability;
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel is required (i.e. ability to perform pivot tables, macros, and intermediate formulas);
- Effective analytical, math and problem solving skills, sound judgment, strong decision making ability, confidence to make difficult decisions and excellent communication skills;
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong organizational, analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
- Excellent troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills;
- Must have strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

- Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines;

- Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with client contacts;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word (intermediate), Excel (advanced) and Access (intermediate).
- Proficiency in use of PC such as keyboard skills and electronic folder/file organization and management;
- Aptitude for learning internal systems, applications and internal work flow of the department;
- Must be able to effectively interact and deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the company.

WORK LOCATION
- Work is typically performed either on site at MMA East's Conshohocken, PA office, or at various customer/MMA locations as required.
