The role would also suit individuals currently working in wealth management support, client services, administration or operations who are looking to transition into a more technical, systems-focused career.
You enjoy learning new technologies, understanding how systems work and helping others solve problems. Naturally curious, organised and detail-oriented, you take a customer-focused approach and are keen to continuously develop your knowledge and skills.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, an aptitude for technology and a desire to learn new business applications and processes. The role is based in Cheltenham and offers hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide first-line support to users by answering questions and resolving application-related issues.
- Guide users on how to use business systems and follow the correct processes.
- Manage user accounts and system access, including liaising with third-party suppliers where required.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and escalate more complex issues to senior team members where appropriate.
- Monitor, prioritise and maintain support tickets, ensuring users receive regular updates.
- Support system administration activities and help maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Work with the wider Applications team to test system changes and new functionality.
- Assist in maintaining support documentation, user guides and knowledge articles.
- Build strong working relationships across the business to understand user needs and improve system adoption.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancement projects.
- Develop an understanding of business systems, integrations and emerging technologies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Strong interest in technology, systems and process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn new applications and business processes quickly

- Placement year, internship or work experience in technology, systems or financial services
