Infrastructure Private Equity Analyst

A leading global private markets investment platform is looking to add an Analyst to its Infrastructure & Real Assets team in London.
The firm works with sophisticated institutional investors globally across private markets and offers exposure to a broad range of infrastructure investment strategies. This is an opportunity to join an international investment team and gain experience across primary funds, secondary investments, co-investments and direct investments, with significant exposure to both investment analysis and transaction execution.
The Role
As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior investment professionals across the London and international teams, supporting the evaluation and execution of infrastructure and real asset investment opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building and modifying sophisticated financial models to assess infrastructure and real asset investments
- Performing valuation work including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, valuation bridges and sensitivity/scenario analysis
- Conducting commercial, financial and sector due diligence on potential investment opportunities
- Evaluating opportunities across primary funds, secondaries, co-investments and direct investments
- Preparing detailed investment memoranda, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders and Investment Committee discussions
- Developing clear investment theses and articulating the key risks, returns and merits of potential opportunities
- Supporting senior professionals with sourcing, screening and management of new investment opportunities
- Working with clients and preparing high-quality investment and advisory materials
Candidate Profile
The team is looking for someone with approximately 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within:
- Investment Banking
- Infrastructure / Project Finance Advisory
- Transaction Services
- Infrastructure or Real Assets Investing
- Fund of Funds
- A private markets GP or similar investment platform
You should have strong transaction experience across M&A, financing or diligence processes, alongside excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills. Direct exposure to infrastructure or real assets is particularly attractive.
Additional European language capabilities, particularly French, German, Danish or Italian, would also be advantageous.
