Casalty Facltative nderwriter basedin or office in the
City of London .




Main Prpose of the Role

l;">- Yo will beresponsible for the marketing and nderwriting of casalty facltativebsiness; soliciting new bsiness opportnities and handling renewal acconts,transacting the Gen Re casalty fac prodct on a direct (non-broker) basis.

- The role is tonderwrite K, International and S casalty reinsrance risks of K andIrish cedents.

-Yo will have a strong knowledge of the K and London Market.

-As a direct nderwriter yo will enjoy being ot in the market, engagingpotential clients on or prodct and developing a strong pipeline of profitable opportnities and contacts.

-Yor performance will be evalated based on what was accomplished and how itwas achieved sch as premim written, nmber of qotations issed, priceadeqacy, client management and teamwork.

-Yo will be reqired to demonstrate solid technical nderwriting skills in General Liability and related classes of bsiness. Experience in K Motoror Financial Lines will be an advantage as wold knowledge of SCasalty .

-Yo will be responsible for nderstanding and applying Casalty Facltativenderwriting philosophy, appetite and gidelines.

-Analyzing and docmenting risk exposres and coverages and assessing thetechnical insrability and profitability of new and renewal sbmissions.

-nderwriting, pricing, strctring and negotiating facltative individal riskor bndled reinsrance schemes, programs or delegated athority arrangements.




Qalifications & Experience

-Aproven track record of sccessfl nderwriting in Third Party Liability linesof bsiness.

-Strong technical nderwriting backgrond and cstomer focs mindset.

-Proficiency in nderstanding contracts, policy forms and terms and conditions.

-Experience with technical rates along with the ability to provide an externalview.

-Sccessfl track record in bilding / growing a sstainable portfolio.

-Strong nmerical, research and analytical skills.

-Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and commnication skills with thecapacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

-Self-starter, with an ability and willingness to take the initiative.

-Strong organizational and time management skills.

-High degree of energy / tenacity and a motivation to develop a deepernderstanding of a broad range of liability prodcts.

-niversity Degree and ACII qalifications are favorable bt not essential.

-Strong Microsoft Office skills.
