Senior Internal Audit Analyst, Technology and Cyber Risk

Macquarie Group London, United Kingdom
Help shape confidence in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. Join a globally connected Internal Audit team where your expertise in technology risk, data and Artificial Intelligence helps strengthen governance, enable informed decision-making, and support the success of businesses across Commodities and Global Markets, Macquarie Capital and Macquarie Asset Management.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst within the Technology Audit team, you will support the delivery of integrated business and technology audits across a diverse global portfolio, helping assess whether technology risks are effectively managed and controls operate as intended. Working closely with colleagues across Internal Audit, technology, risk and business teams, you will leverage data analytics and Artificial Intelligence to perform audit testing, analyse control evidence, document results, validate observations and contribute insights that support high-quality audit outcomes. Through regular engagement with stakeholders, you will support discussions on control design and operating effectiveness, assist with issue validation and action closure, and contribute to continuous monitoring of emerging technology, cyber and regulatory risks. Reporting into the Technology Audit leadership team, your work will contribute to providing independent assurance to senior management and the Board Audit Committee while supporting a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

What you offer

• Experience in technology audit, technology risk management or a related assurance function, with knowledge of automated controls, IT General Controls and technology risk frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to leverage data and Artificial Intelligence tools to perform control testing, investigate exceptions, evidence conclusions and support audit outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging and influencing individuals across technology, risk and business teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A continuous learning mindset with an interest in emerging technologies, cyber security trends and regulatory developments relevant to financial services.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
