A leading global investment management firm is hiring a Senior Analyst, Private Equity Operations to join its Private Investments Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on execution, but is equally motivated to enhance processes, leverage technology, and evolve how private investment operations are delivered.
Reporting into a senior leader within Private Investments Operations, the Senior Analyst will own day‑to‑day private equity operational activity while also contributing to process improvement, automation, and audit‑ready controls. The team is looking for someone who not only "runs the playbook," but actively improves it.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end‑to‑end operational lifecycle of private equity and private investments
- Partner with investment teams to operationalize deals from approval through close and ongoing lifecycle events
- Review and support execution of private investment documentation (LPAs, SPAs, subscription and credit agreements)
- Manage cash activity, position setup, and break resolution to ensure accurate books and records
- Support capital calls, distributions, exits, IPOs, and other corporate actions
- Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process enhancements, automation, and system improvements
- Support audit readiness, controls, and operational documentation
- 4 days in office
Ideal Profile
- 4-7 years of experience in private equity or private investments operations on the buyside
- Experience within a PE firm, asset manager, or institutional alternatives platform is required
- Strong understanding of private fund structures and the private investment lifecycle
- Agile operator who can own day‑to‑day execution while contributing to projects and enhancements
- Comfortable leveraging systems, technology, and data to improve operational efficiency
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
