Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, amendments, assignments, and related agreements
- Partner with leasing and business teams to support transactions and mitigate legal risk
- Advise on landlord-tenant issues and other commercial real estate matters
- Provide practical legal guidance on leasing strategy and dispute avoidance
- Manage multiple matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
- 6+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience with retail, mixed-use, or commercial leasing preferred
- Ability to balance legal analysis with business objectives
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Law firm and/or in-house experience preferred
