We are currently partnered with a leading global investment bank seeking a VP-level Quant Strat to support its Prime Services and Delta One businesses
This individual will work directly with Equity Financing and Delta One trading desks to build quantitative models, analytics, and decision-support tools focused on risk management, inventory optimization, balance sheet efficiency, and revenue generation opportunities. The role sits in the front office and offers significant interaction with traders, sales teams, and senior business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance quantitative models and analytics supporting Equity Financing and Delta One trading activities
- Build Python-based libraries and tools used by traders and business stakeholders on a daily basis
- Analyze large datasets to identify market trends, optimize inventory usage, and improve capital efficiency
- Partner closely with trading, sales, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Contribute to pricing, risk management, and business optimization initiatives
- Drive multiple projects simultaneously and influence quantitative strategy across the business
Requirements
- VP-level experience as a Quant, Quant Strat, or Quantitative Analyst within a front-office environment
- Strong understanding of equity products and markets
- Advanced Python development skills with experience building production-quality analytical tools
- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and quantitative modeling
- Experience working directly with trading desks and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Experience
- Equity Financing, Prime Services, Securities Lending, or Delta One experience
- Knowledge of products such as equity swaps, futures, options, repo, and margin lending
- Experience with optimization techniques and data-driven decision frameworks
- Exposure to visualization tools such as Dash, Jupyter, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and automated workflows
