Job Description

As an AVP Regulatory Compliance, your main responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures in line with local regulatory requirements and company standards.
Monitoring regulatory changes and advising relevant stakeholders on their potential impact.
Providing guidance and training to internal teams to ensure compliance awareness across the organisation.
Conducting regular compliance reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and external regulators as required.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues effectively.
Supporting the implementation of regulatory projects and initiatives within the banking and financial services sector.
Ensuring timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP Regulatory Compliance should have:

5-10 years of regulatory/general compliance from retail bank
A strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
Relevant qualifications in law, finance, or related fields.
Must be able to read and write chinese
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to analyze regulatory updates and implement necessary changes effectively.
