Your new company
Our client is currently looking for an IT Head for one of their overseas subsidiaries (the role is based in Hong Kong), with a well-rounded background in technologies including, but not limited to, ERP systems, application development, digital solutions, infrastructure, and IT operations. The successful candidate will lead the IT department and take an active role in IT strategy, business analysis, project implementation, and people management. Fluent English speaking is a must for this position.

Your new role

Lead the overall IT function for one of the overseas subsidiaries, managing application development, ERP systems, business intelligence, infrastructure, and IT operations teams (10+ FTEs).
Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into practical technology roadmaps, digital solutions, and data-driven strategies.
Drive business analytics initiatives by leveraging data, reporting platforms, and BI tools to deliver actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Be involved in the development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and long-term scalability.
Lead ERP and any potential digital transformation projects, including system upgrades, integrations, process automation, and the implementation of new technologies.
Manage IT budgets, resource planning, vendor relationships, project governance, and service delivery standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to management by providing strategic recommendations on technology investments and transformation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience within Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Commercial sectors is highly preferred.
15+ years of progressive IT experience with a broad background across enterprise applications, software development, ERP systems, infrastructure, and IT operations.
Strong business analytics and senior stakeholder management experience, with a proven ability to support business decision-making and operational improvements.
Solid experience managing ERP systems (such as Oracle), together with integrations with other business systems including CRM, or related enterprise applications.
Proven leadership experience in a Head of IT, IT Director, or Senior IT Manager capacity, leading cross-functional teams of 8+ FTEs. Experience leading overseas resources is a strong advantage.
Good understanding of system integration, infrastructure, and IT operations.
Proven track record of collaborating with business teams and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
Experience in budgeting, project portfolio management, vendor management, and resource planning.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.
Must be currently based in Hong Kong with valid working rights.
