A leading quantitative trading firm is seeking an experienced C# Software Engineer to join its Core Trading Technology team. The group is responsible for building and maintaining business-critical applications that support trading, market data, analytics and real-time messaging across a front-office environment.

The role offers the opportunity to work on highly scalable, real-time systems alongside traders, researchers and some of the industry's strongest engineers.

1. Design and develop high-performance applications using C# and .NET.
2. Build scalable, resilient and highly available systems.
3. Deliver projects across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to production deployment.
4. Work closely with traders, researchers and other technology teams to solve complex business problems.
5. Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous platform improvements.
6. Mentor junior engineers and help drive engineering best practices.

1. 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
2. Strong C# and .NET development experience.
3. Strong understanding of object-oriented design, multithreading and concurrency.
4. Experience building server-side, distributed or real-time applications.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.

1. WPF or other desktop application development.
2. Linux and deploying .NET applications in production environments.
3. Event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
4. Exposure to market data, trading systems or financial markets.
