We are looking for a Data Centre Technician to join a leading global financial firm in Shanghai, responsible for the full lifecycle of our local data centre and exchange colocation infrastructure. You will lead the 0-to-1 build of the data centre, including rack layout, cabling, hardware installation, and environmental system setup (power, cooling, fire suppression). Daily responsibilities include server/network device maintenance, fault diagnosis, hardware replacement, and proactive monitoring to ensure zero downtime for trading systems. Strong Linux/Unix skills, basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and scripting experience (Bash/Python) are required, along with fluency in English and Mandarin. Candidates with prior financial services or trading floor support experience, especially those who have built a data centre from the ground up, are strongly preferred.
