Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Multisite Plant Manager to oversee operations at our manufacturing facilities in Grand-Est of France. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and regulations in France.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, including department managers and frontline employees.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and oversee recruitment and training.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in France.
- Promote a culture of safety and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications.
- Address quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
- Monitor and control operational expenses.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between the plant and corporate leadership.
- Provide regular updates on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
- Ensure efficient supply chain operations and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10-15 years) in a plant management or senior manufacturing leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of French labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
