The Role
AVP/VP, Precious Metal Trader, Global Commodities
Key Accountabilities
- Price, execute and risk manage precious metal flow and derivative transactions across OTC spot, forward, swaps, options and futures;
- Actively manage market risk to meet individual and team budget;
- Work closely with Sales team to structure hedging and investment solutions for corporate and institutional clients;
- Collaborate with compliance, operation, risk and IT department to ensure smooth desk execution and system upgrades;
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- University degree or above in relevant fields such as banking, finance, or business administration, CFA is preferred;
- At least 5 years of experience in Precious Metal trading, relevant experience in other asset class can be considered with proven track record;
- Candidates with over 2 years of working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Extensive client network with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- In-depth understanding of commodity trading models and product structures;
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in Chinese and English.
