Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support the assessment and administration of matters relating to listed issuers, including reviewing corporate announcements and circulars, processing applications for additional securities listings, handling regulatory enquiries, and evaluating waiver requests. Ensure all matters are managed efficiently in accordance with relevant Listing Rules and that investors receive timely and transparent information.
- Assist in the ongoing oversight of listed companies' activities by monitoring unusual trading and price movements, identifying relevant market and media developments for further review, and coordinating follow-up actions relating to trading suspensions and resumptions. Contribute to maintaining a fair, orderly, and transparent securities market.
- Provide professional support to the Listing Division on accounting, legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters, helping facilitate effective case management and decision-making.
- Participate in policy reviews, regulatory initiatives, and special projects as assigned, contributing to the development and enhancement of listing and market oversight frameworks.
A successful candidate should have:
- A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent would be highly advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years of Big 4 experience with Hong Kong listing knowledge
- Proficiency in financial reporting standards and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in using advanced financial software and tools.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
