About Our Client

Our client is a Leading International Global Financial Institution, who is looking to identify a mid-senior Lawyer for their Global Markets business.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include:

Advising on legal and regulatory matters related to derivatives within the Financial Services industry.
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing derivatives agreements and related documentation.
Providing guidance on compliance with local and international regulations in Hong Kong.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage legal risks effectively.
Staying updated on legal developments and advising on their potential impact on business operations.
Supporting dispute resolution and managing any legal proceedings related to derivatives transactions.
Ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Contributing to the development of internal legal frameworks and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Qualifications:

A law degree and professional legal qualification.
Proven expertise in derivatives and regulatory compliance within the Financial Services industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Familiarity with Hong Kong regulations and international legal frameworks.
Chinese language skills preferred, but not required
