My client is a Top tier, large and reputable Chinese Bank Branch in Hong Kong, now looking for a strategic and analytical professional to join their ALM (Asset & Liability Management Department). This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the financial structure and optimize funding effectiveness in a fast-paced market environment.
Job Duties:
- Strategic Planning: Support the creation of comprehensive asset and liability strategies and define performance targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to ensure the seamless execution of ALM strategies.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor global macroeconomic trends, focusing on FX and interest rate fluctuations, to provide actionable insights.
- Reporting & Optimization: Draft ad hoc reports and ALCO presentations to refine our asset-liability structure, FTP policies, and overall funding efficiency.
- Pricing Analysis: Assist in preparing asset-liability pricing reports and offer data-driven recommendations to improve the bank's funding profile.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Handle additional departmental tasks and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate in Risk Management or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of working experience in FTP or Asset & Liability related fields in other banks.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
