About Our Client

Our client is a well-known international law firm with a strong Financial Services department.

Job Description

As a Financial Services Paralegal, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing legal and administrative support to the legal team, particularly in financial services matters.
• Assisting with the SFC licensing application process.
• Conducting legal and regulatory research.
• Assisting with drafting relevant documents relating to SFC fund authorization applications.
• Monitoring regulatory updates relevant to the financial services industry.
• Reviewing and translating documents as required.
• Supporting the team in managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Providing additional assistance on ad-hoc legal projects and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience handling SFC licensing applications work or experience working as a Financial Services Paralegal in another law firm. Whilst a degree in law is preferred, candidates with a degree in business (or related field) and willing to take on a Paralegal role will also be considered. Fluency across English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required.
