Job Description
- Managing daily middle-office operations related to fixed income, currencies, and commodities (FICC) products.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements in all processes.
- Collaborating closely with front-office teams to support trading activities and mitigate operational risks.
- Overseeing trade validation, confirmation, and settlement processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the middle-office team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Implementing process improvements and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Managing relationships with external counterparties, clearinghouses, and custodians.
- Preparing and presenting operational reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of FICC products and middle-office operations within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in banking and financial services.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with front-office and back-office teams.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Leadership experience in managing teams and driving operational improvements.
