Prpose of the role:



BIL Lease is hiring a Head of Finance to join its Finance team. The Head of Finance operates within the Finance fnction of a leasing entity and reports to the Head of Company and the Grop Chief Financial Officer (CFO).



The role covers the fll perimeter of acconting activities, ensring the overall management, accracy, and compliance of the acconting fnction, inclding financial reporting nder LX GAAP and IFRS, reglatory obligations, internal control framework, and bdgeting.



The position plays a key role in driving continos improvement of acconting processes, systems, and governance. Acting as a bsiness partner to senior management and Grop Finance, the Head of Finance provides reliable financial information to spport planning, performance monitoring, and decision-making.




Key accontabilities
:




Financial Reporting & Closing:

Preparation of monthly, qarterly, and annal acconts nder LX GAAP and IFRS

Ensre timely and accrate closing processes

Prodce stattory financial statements and reglatory reports

Act as main point of contact for external aditors

Ensre reconciliation between general ledger, sb-ledgers, and leasing systems

Leasing Acconting:

Spervise acconting treatment of financial leasing operations

Ensre proper handling of residal vales, depreciation, and interest recognition

Ensre compliance with IFRS 16 and local reglations

Monitor provisions, impairments, and portfolio valation

Systems & Data Management:

Ensre governance of acconting flows linked to Cassiopae system

Garantee integrity and consistency of financial data

Participate in system enhancements, testing, and parameterization

Contribte to atomation and process improvement initiatives

Reglatory & Tax Compliance:

Ensre compliance with Lxemborg acconting, VAT, and tax reqirements

Coordinate tax reporting with internal and external stakeholder

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor daily cash inflows and otflows

Prepare short-, medim-, and long-term cash flow forecasts

Manage financing needs (loans, credit lines, etc.)

Optimize liqidity management

Management Control:

Develop, monitor, and analyze bdgets and forecasts

Set p and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

Analyze variances between actal and forecast figres

Prodce reglar financial reports for management

Contribte to the development of the financial strategy

Internal Control & Risk:

Maintain and strengthen the internal control framework

Ensre implementation of internal and external adit recommendations

Identify and mitigate acconting and financial risks

Process Improvement:

Optimize acconting processes and reporting efficiency

Contribte to transformation and digitalization initiatives

Yor skills:

8-1 years of professional experience in acconting, ideally within leasing, banking, or financial services, inclding exposre to complex financial environments.

Master's degree in Acconting, Finance, Economics, or Bsiness Administration, with a recognized professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, Expert-Comptable, IFRS) considered an advantage.

Strong technical expertise in financial reporting nder LX GAAP and IFRS, with solid knowledge of leasing acconting and IFRS 16 reqirements.

Good nderstanding of acconting systems (SAGE) and financial data flows, with experience in leasing systems sch as Cassiopae is considered a pls.

Proven ability to analyze financial information, ensre data qality, and spport bsiness decision-making throgh reliable reporting.

Experience in driving process improvements, system enhancements, and atomation initiatives within finance fnctions.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

High level of accracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining a robst control framework.

Langages: French & English are reqired
