Job Title: Deputy Head for Regional Credit (RC)
Location: HK/SG:SG is preferred but we have some flexibility
Requirements:
- ≥10 years hands-on credit / lending experience
- Good understanding of accounting concepts
- Direct involvement in deal structuring (not just analysis)
- Generalist or Specialist with multiple sector exposure
- Exposure to collateralised / bespoke financing (e.g. take private or cash flow financing)
- Regional or cross-border experience
- Some form of people leadership / mentoring
Potential Talent Pool:
- Corporate or mid-market commercial bankers
- Private credit, private equity, LBO financing, special situation fund
- Brokerage firms with bespoke/specialized financing solution team
- Investment arm of family office specialized in loans or credits
Work Experience:
- Credit / Private Credit, Private Debt / Insurance Credit/ Asset-Backed/ Hybrid/ Special Situations/ Credit strategy/ Structured Finance arms
- Banks / Financial Institutions (Selective Desks Only):
Mezzanine / Structured Credit / Special Situations/ Leveraged Finance/ EM Credit/ Credit Investing/ Asset Management – Credit/ Structured Credit / Corporate – selective
Explicit exclusion:
- Syndication, relationship management, or portfolio-monitoring profiles.
Typical experience: 10 to 15 years
Experience with:
- listed companies in the APAC region
- Senior secured / mezzanine
- Structured or asset-backed credit
- Cash flow financing
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts, downside protection, security, recoveries
- APAC transaction exposure (Greater China & ASEAN)
