About the Client

Our client is a reputable investment bank with active businesses across global equities, fixed income, derivatives trading, and wealth management. As part of their continued growth in Singapore, they are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join the local finance team. This role offers strong exposure to regulatory reporting, capital adequacy monitoring, and multi-entity financial oversight within a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the full financial accounting and month-end close for the Singapore trading entity, ensuring integrity of trade-to-ledger interfaces, reconciliations, and robust balance sheet governance across equities, fixed income and derivatives.
2. Drive daily monitoring of MAS risk-based capital adequacy requirements and oversee timely, accurate regulatory submissions.
3. Act as a key finance partner to local, regional and head office stakeholders, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and alignment across jurisdictions.
4. Strengthen internal controls, governance standards and operating processes to enhance compliance, scalability and risk management across Singapore-managed entities.
5. Lead statutory reporting, audit and tax coordination, while contributing to finance transformation and strategic projects to support evolving regulatory and business demands.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related discipline; CPA qualified or progressing towards qualification
2. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within regional or international financial institutions
3. Solid hands-on experience with Singapore regulatory capital adequacy calculations under a CMS or Banking licence framework
4. Analytical, commercially minded and able to operate independently while driving process improvements
5. Proficient in MS Office, with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
6. Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
7. Proven experience managing financial and statutory audits
