About the Role

Our client, a leading global provider of market infrastructure and trading technology, is looking for a hands-on operations leader to head up their APAC trading support function. This is a senior leadership role covering a team of support professionals across Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Manila, providing real-time operational support across five asset classes: Credit, Rates, FX, Equities, and Energy & Commodities.

You'll own the end-to-end support model for broker- and trader-facing platforms — from client onboarding and trade management to system configuration and incident resolution — while driving the adoption of automation and data-driven practices to improve speed, accuracy, and team capability across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Level 1–2 support delivery across multiple asset classes, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs
2. Act as primary escalation point for business-critical issues, coordinating stakeholders through to resolution
3. Build strong relationships with brokers, desk heads, product owners, and senior business stakeholders
4. Drive collaboration between support and Development teams to break down silos and improve service outcomes
5. Define and continuously improve operational procedures, controls, and support processes
6. Champion ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tooling) and automation initiatives to lift service quality and reporting
7. Partner with Product and Technology teams on upcoming developments and support readiness
8. Own Risk, Audit, and Compliance matters within the team
9. Manage, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team; optimise resourcing across asset classes

Key Requirements:

1. Solid L1–L2 support and Incident Management background, ideally across Trading Applications, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Market Data systems
2. Strong, hands-on Credit products experience essential — corporate/sovereign bonds, CDS, credit indices, and related fixed income instruments
3. FX, Equities, and Energy & Commodities product knowledge advantageous but not essential
4. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/workflow platforms — essential
5. Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels — from traders and brokers to senior leadership
6. Excellent communication skills, calm and clear under pressure
7. Experience building and leading high-performing, distributed teams
8. Solid knowledge of Financial Markets, OTC products, and pre/post-trade workflows, with particular depth in Credit.
