Salesforce Solution Architect - CPQ / Revenue Cloud (RCA)
About the Role

An AI-first global consultancy is looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect specialising in CPQ and Revenue Cloud to lead solution design and technical delivery across complex Salesforce implementation projects. The successful candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with architectural leadership, strong stakeholder management and a proactive approach to using AI tools to improve delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities

Solution Design

• Own the architecture for assigned areas, producing solution designs, assessments and roadmaps to guide project delivery teams.
• Develop proofs of concept to validate new architectures and technical approaches.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead architecture across projects, supporting multiple Agile Scrum teams from planning and scoping through to continuous delivery and production.
• Write user stories, provide business analysis support where required, and oversee testing and release readiness.

Stakeholder Management

• Work with Product Owners, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Coordinate with distributed and offshore teams to resolve dependencies, issues and risks.

Estimation and Mentorship

• Estimate project effort and define appropriate team structures.
• Mentor delivery team members and promote consistent architectural and delivery practices across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Salesforce experience.
• Hands-on Salesforce CPQ implementation experience, including at least two full-lifecycle projects covering discovery, design, implementation and optimisation.
• Strong working knowledge of at least one additional Salesforce Cloud, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud.
• Solid understanding of product and pricing models, quote-to-cash processes and integration design. Experience with Billing and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead teams through implementation using a structured delivery methodology.
• Experience estimating projects and defining team structures.
• Experience managing complex or large-scale consulting projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including authoring and presenting technical documentation and explaining requirements and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Active use of AI tools in delivery, with the ability to explain how they have improved working practices and outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable Experience

• Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) implementation experience.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Revenue Cloud Consultant certification.
• Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Sales Cloud Consultant or Platform App Builder, or progress towards Application Architect.
• Strong awareness of current Salesforce architecture trends and the platform's future direction.
• An interest in mentoring and developing junior team members.
