A nationally respected litigation firm is seeking an experienced attorney with 15+ years of insurance defense experience to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is geared toward seasoned litigators who enjoy practicing law at a high level and want to remain hands-on with complex matters while working alongside a team of accomplished trial attorneys. The practice offers a steady flow of sophisticated litigation, strong support, and the resources of a national platform within a collaborative and flexible environment.

• Independently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Handle depositions, court appearances, mediations, and motion practice
• Develop case strategy and provide practical guidance to clients
• Prepare case evaluations and resolution recommendations
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
• Participate in trials and significant litigation proceedings
• Collaborate with a highly experienced team of litigators on high-exposure matters

• 15+ years of litigation experience
• Active Illinois Bar admission
• Insurance defense experience required
• Trial experience required
• First or second chair trial experience strongly preferred
• Extensive deposition and motion practice experience
• Experience handling general liability, transportation, construction, premises liability, and/or products liability matters

• Sophisticated, high-exposure litigation
• Meaningful trial involvement

Compensation: $190,000-$200,000+ base salary, plus bonus potential.
