HSBC's Hang Senk Bank to hire 300
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Bank, is planning to move into wealth management services for rich Chinese by increasing its mainland staff by 50% to 600 by the end of 2006.
Johnson Fu Chi-king, head of China business at Hang Seng, told Reuters the bank aims to have at least 30 mainland outlets by 2010, depending on regulatory approval, and will focus on high-end clients in mainland China.
Hang Senk Bank is 62% owned by HSBC Holdings.
