Cheyne to hire in Hong Kong
London-based multi-strategy hedge fund Cheyne Capital Management is expanding in Hong Kong, and plans to set up an investment team in the medium term.
The firm has already hired a portfolio manager in the shape of Pradeep Swamy, in light of increasing investment opportunities, and plans to further build its presence in Asia, Finance Asia reports.
Cheyne has offices in the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Its funds specialize in convertible bonds, credit and asset backed securities, equities and event-driven investing.
