Tharshan left Rokos last October and his London move has been in process for a while. He declined to comment for this article, but it's understood that he moved back to London for family reasons.

Tharshan has been around. We wrote about him in 2021 when he was cut from Nomura. A graduate of the London School of Economics, he's also worked five year stings at RBS and UBS.

Credit trading has been complicated this year by uncertainty around tariffs. However, Citi's fixed income trading revenues rose nearly 8% year-on-year in the first quarter and the bank attributed growth to "increased client activity" and spread products.
