A senior portfolio manager at Millennium in Hong Kong returned to where he came from
The last time we wrote about Jonathan Vayn, it was 2015 and he had left SocGen for Capula in London.

Vayn did not respond to a request to comment for this article, but much has changed in his life since then. He moved to Hong Kong. He joined hedge fund Millennium. Then he left again.
Milllennium declined to comment for this article. Vayn, who specialises in trading volatility strategies, left Capula for Millennium in February 2022. He was a senior portfolio manager at Millennium for four years, but now he's back at Capula again.
We do not know why. Nor is it clear whether Vayn had a pod at Millennium which has been disbanded. Shao Ying, another senior Millennium trader specialising in relative value trades went to hedge fund Dymon Capital Asia last year. The fund still employs people like Camille Modiano, a former JPMorgan MD who also trades volatility strategies.
Capula has been in Hong Kong since 2012.
