The successful person will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, requiring a strong working knowledge of data center environments and the ability to discuss technical requirements confidently with engineers, vendors and other infrastructure specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate data centre infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, engineers and external vendors.
- Translate technical requirements and challenges into clear information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate project activities relating to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure.
- Work with technical teams on data centre infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, cabling and associated facilities requirements.
- Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate multiple parties to ensure infrastructure activities are delivered effectively and aligned with project requirements.
- Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication across both business and technical stakeholder groups.
- 3-5+ years' experience working within data centre environments, ideally within a project management, project coordination or infrastructure delivery capacity.
- Good understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) infrastructure within a data centre environment.
- Familiarity with critical data centre infrastructure and terminology, particularly UPS systems and generators.
- Experience working with or coordinating data centre cabling activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Strong project coordination and organisational capabilities.
- Fluent English and Cantonese communication skills are essential.
