This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to be involved in a large-scale cloud modernisation programme.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the assessment, design and development of next-generation private cloud infrastructure
- Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Evaluate different cloud technologies and vendor solutions
- Work across compute, storage, networking, virtualisation and cloud platforms
- Support infrastructure automation and DevOps adoption
- Work closely with internal engineering teams, architects and external technology vendors
- Contribute to technical studies, proof-of-concepts and solution evaluation
- Around 5+ years' experience across cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with private cloud, virtualisation or cloud infrastructure
- Experience with technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud or Tencent Cloud
- Familiarity with DevOps / automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or similar
- Cloud migration or infrastructure transformation experience would be an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
