The role will focus on designing and building secure, scalable public Cloud landing zones, while ensuring cloud environments meet regional security, governance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Automate cloud infrastructure and operational processes using Python and scripting.
- Support the implementation of cloud logging, monitoring and audit controls.
- Work with security, architecture and engineering teams to translate technical and regulatory requirements into practical cloud solutions.
- Review existing cloud environments and identify opportunities to improve automation, security and scalability.
- Strong hands-on experience with one of the major public cloud platforms
- Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python; Java exposure would also be beneficial.
- Experience working with CI/CD and cloud automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
