Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate private cloud environments as part of a major migration programme.
- Evaluating private cloud platforms engaging vendors, and contributing to design decisions.
- Apply DevOps tools and automation practices to cloud operations.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate solutions.
- Contribute to the design of the future-state private cloud platform
- Document findings, produce reports, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience: At least 4 years of cloud experience, with a strong focus on private cloud environments.
- Private Cloud Engineering: Proven experience designing, building, and operating private cloud environments.
- VMware Expertiese: Exposure to VMware environments and migration/exit programmes - understanding the challenges of moving off VMware..
- DevOps & Automation: Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation practices.
- Languages: Good communicaiton in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Vendor Management: Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
- Chinese Cloud- Any Chinese Cloud knowledge would be an advantage
