Most rockstar macro portfolio manager in New York joined ExodusPoint
Haseeb Ahmed is a legend. He is a "rockstar." He is a rockstar like Mick Jagger who has been going at it for years but Ahmed's sphere is global macro investing. He began has his career at JPMorgan in 2005 and has since worked for Citadel, Goldman, BlueCrest, DE Shaw, Millennium and Centiva.
Now Ahmed is going to ExodusPoint in New York.

ExodusPoint declined to comment on his arrival. Ahmed didn't respond to a request to comment. Market sources informed us of his legendary status.
Given that Ahmed is senior, it seems feasible that he will be hiring a team at ExodusPoint. However, this is not confirmed.
Ahmed arrives at ExodusPoint after Mirco Bulega, another macro portfolio manager based in London left. The two things are unlikely to be related. Bulega is going to Millennium.
Business Insider reported on Friday that ExodusPoint returned 4.1% in 2026 through to May.
